Hi there! My name is MsK and my pronouns are she and her. I identify as a black, bi, goth, cis-gendered fat female and mother from Nashville, TN.
I am currently an active member of The Mark by CPI in Nashville, TN. I currently serve as a liaison and advocate on the CPI Board of Directors, and perform outreach to other communities like ours. Previously, I have served as co-chair of the education committee and have taught The Mark’s foundational educational Welcome series, which includes: Welcome to Kink, a discussion of basic kink, Welcome to The Mark, which talks about our history and rules, and Ready, Set, Play, which focuses on the different roles people use in our community, how to find fellow kinksters, and the basics of negotiations. I have also acted as a facilitator with the Adventure in Kink series, which focused on more specialized topics that go beyond CPI’s twelve-month series of BDSM Basics, featuring kinks and play styles which are fascinating and take advantage of the expertise of our local community. I also serve as a CPI party host and organizer for Femdom and POC (People of Color) play parties.
I am also a member of Black Femdoms-Atlanta, a real-time, adult social and educational affinity group focused on BDSM, kink, and Leather for Black Women who identify as Master, Mistress, Owner, or Dominant, and for all s-types regardless of their race, gender identity, or sexuality. I have taught classes for Black Femdoms-Atlanta on topics ranging from Burn Out and Top Frenzy to Intro to Pegging and Mind Fucking.
I am currently a staff member for the Sex Down South Conference as the Dungeon Coordinator for The Labyrinth play space. Sex Down South was created by 2 BIPOC women who wanted to provide a safe and consenting space for people, especially those who are BIPOC, to explore their sexuality and kink.
I am one of the co-founders of Nashville Fat Femme Collective, which provides a safe place for those who identify as fat and female. Together, we discuss things such as self-care, being fat and body-accepting, and being sensual and sexy beings. We held our first symposium in February 2020, which included topics such as self-care, spirituality, finding sexy and cute clothing at any size and budget, basic burlesque dance steps, and included a clothing swap for sizes 12 and up.
Recently, I had the pleasure of teaching one of the modules for Sexual Health Alliance, on the topic of Cultural Diversity, Minority Stress, Kink Identity Development, and Health Disparities as part of the Kink-Informed Certification Program that educates therapists, coaches, and educators, as well as other sexuality experts about kink, BDSM, and alternative sexuality. This certification provides you with all the tools needed to truly become a kink-aware or kink-positive therapist or professionals under the direction of SHA and International expert, Midori. I am also pursuing my certification to become a sex coach and consultant through Sexual Health Alliance. I have also had the pleasure of serving on various panels on kink and ethical non-monogamy for Vanderbilt University and The Nashville Sexual Assault Center. I have been featured on Consent Dojo with Midori, Episode #13, and Race and Kink.
When I am not trying to spread awareness or being my fat, kinky self, I am raising my special needs daughter and am involved in special needs outreach with other parents of autistic children. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, aka my partner in crime, who thoroughly supported and encouraged me on this new journey educating folks about kink and sex. And, believe it or not, I like to dress up and keep in touch with fellow geeks through the Nashville Geek Girl group.
